Ping Mah Bio

Lion Ping, is the co-owner and CEO of a property management company and she has been living in Canada for 46 Years.

Being drawn to the Lions motto “WE SERVE”, Lion Ping joined the Lions family in 2009, and has since enjoyed participating in the fellowship of service for the community. She is currently a member of the Vancouver Galaxy Lions Club.

She has held offices in the Club and the District Cabinet Team, including being District 19A chairperson of Lions Foundation of Canada, chairperson of Contests and Awards, club president, and club secretary. In recognition of her service, Lion Ping has received the MD 19 Club President’s Excellence Award, Lions Club International Club President’s Excellence Award, and MD 19 Club Secretary Excellence Award for two terms. She is a Progressive Melvin Jones Fellow and a Judge Brian Stevenson Fellow.

In addition to her Lions activities, Lion Ping is an active volunteer for the Downtown Eastside soup kitchen – The Door is Open, and for Meals on Wheels delivery. She also serves as a member of the Chinese Meals on Wheels Advisory Committee, the Alzheimer Society of BC Advisory Committee, and as a Goodwill Ambassador of S.U.C.C.E.S.S.- Multi-Level Care Society.

Lion Ping and her husband, Lion Yang Mah, have two sons who are also Lions.
