District Governor Bio

Biography
Lion Grace came from Hong Kong in 1983 and was introduced to the Lions family in 1994. She is now the members of Vancouver Pacific Lions Club and Vancouver Chinatown Lioness Club. Over the past lions’ years, she has enriched herself in positive personal growth, leadership and public speaking skills, established valuable friendships, and fulfilled a sense of spiritual satisfaction by following the Lion’s Motto: “WE SERVE”.

Lion Grace is actively involved in three levels and was awarded lion of the year from her home club, zone and district. She is the Melvin Jones Progressive Fellow, the Judge Brian Stevenson Progressive Fellow, the Meade Sutherland Fellow, and the Gordon Smith CARE Fellow.

She attended the Senior Lions Institute in 2007 at Chicago and is a Certified Guiding Lion. She serves as the Global Leadership Team District Coordinator 2013-2017 and nurtures new leaders through leadership development programs. Lion Grace is also focusing on Leo development and supports the District Leo Liaison in organizing the Leo Leadership Workshops and the District Leo Conventions 2015 and 2016.

She has successfully rebuilt a lions club in 2016 from closing and is working together with the Leo Clubs on an upcoming District Centennial Leo Convention that would be held on October 21, 2017.

She was awarded the International President Leadership Medal at the April 2017 District Convention. She is an Associate Broker and a full time residential realtor since 1989. She believes that “the higher the goal, the harder the climb, but taken each day, one step at a time, the goal is accomplished, and the dream is attained. And the prizes? The wisdom and strength that are gained.”
