Biography
A-6 Zone Chair Bob Nordlund is a retired 35 year member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. He worked as a traffic member for over 25 years and was a medic for the R.C.M.P. Riot Squad. For many of those years he was an instructor for police training. Beginning with 26 years of service with Boy Scouts of Canada, he has volunteered all of his adult life. He has coached juvenile soccer, baseball, rugby, and football. As well, he has managed hockey teams. He played rugby for Kitsilano High School, the Meralomas Rugby Team and was a founding member of the Nanaimo Hornets Rugby team. Bob is a Past President, trainer for District 19A and Multiple District 19 and a Guiding Lion. He is a graduate of Lions University and a graduate of the Faculty Development Institute, a LCI international training course. He is an active member of the Gibsons Lions Club on the coast of British Columbia, Canada. Bob is married to Lion Elizabeth. They have 3 adult children and 8 grandchildren.
